Incredible how much you can learn...

     Well, people, for now I must be saying goodbye... But, before that, I wanted to share with you how happy I feel about all the things I have learned during this course. At first, I was pretty scared and insecure. I thought technology was for a few brains who could innately undestand the functioning and process of it. 

     Although I must admit that I am not a genius in this subject, I can proudly say that I can use many of the tools that technology can offer. I had plenty of fun, and now I feel not so clumsy. I even created my own blog and uploaded my works on it...successfully! I cannot believe it!

     I hope you have enjoyed at least part of it, and thanks for your support and for always being around! And special thanks to Gladys, my ICT teacher, for her patience and her help! Thank you all! Fondly,

Validating a site

     This was one of the last tasks we´ve done for this course. It was about finding a useful page on the web and sharing it with the rest of the classmates. But before sharing, we should make sure that it was a valid site that we could consult freely. My partner Rosa and me selected the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, because it had very useful information about that subject, which we are taking at the TTC. I hope you may find it useful as well!

My first experience with Twitter

    This was my second assessment time. I had to present a Power Point created by myself, something I´ve never done before, about how to use Twitter. I created a new account in order to undestand better how Twitter works. Now I follow several people, including some of my classmates and famous writers!
   I had a lot of fun making this power point, so I hope you´ll enjoy it as much as I do. And it also encouraged me to continue using Power Point!

Working on Microsoft Word

   Hello again! I'll let you take a look at my first assessment work this year for the ICT subject. We were asked to create a document using a word processor of our choice to modify a text in order to make it look like the original one, proposed by our teacher.

   I've learned many new things about the use of Microsoft Word... And went over many more. It was a challenge at first, but I think I could pull it off successfully! Enjoy!

My progress at the TTC

     When I started at the LCB TTC in march this year, I didn't know what to expect. But I must admit I found some terrific teachers, devoted and understanding. And I also found great partners, caring and supportive. This subject, TIC, was an issue for me because technology is not my cup of tea, but thanks to my teacher Gladys and my classmates I've soon discovered that new technologies are extremely useful and also lots of fun. I hope you enjoy watching my progresses as much as I have! And thanks for your time!
